Chapman Approved AI Tools

The following AI tools are available to all Chapman University students, faculty ,and staff:

  • PantherAI: PantherAI gives Chapman students and faculty a centralized space to access multiple AI models—like GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini—without juggling separate tools or subscriptions. It’s designed to support research at every stage, from brainstorming and literature exploration to drafting, coding, and data interpretation. Users can select the platform that best fits their project’s needs, within a single interface. While it can streamline research and save significant time, users should still verify the accuracy of AI-generated content and avoid relying on it for factual precision.
  • Grammarly Generative AI: Available through the university's Grammarly Premium subscription, this tool helps users write, revise, ideate, and reply whether it be emails, letters, sentences, or other forms of writing.
  • Microsoft Copilot for Web: Formerly known as Bing Chat Enterprise, this AI chat tool helps users to write and summarize content, create code, and answer complex questions.
  • Zoom AI Companion: Available through the university's Zoom subscription, this tool helps users enhance their productivity in Zoom meetings. Features include meeting summaries, chat message drafting, email generation and much more.
